I love seeing friends together! This dear gal had her best friend visiting from California and asked me to tag along on one of their outings for some fun. It had been a few years since they had been together, so there was much to catch up on. Between their three sweet boys, it became quickly evident that these mommies love their babies and are amazing moms! Seriously, what a striving there is in their homes to raise these boys to be sweet, godly men.
Janell and Chelcie, stick it out and be encouraged. Your boys are young but they’re learning. And you’re doing such a good job. I LOVED my time with you all!!

And look at the love in her face!!!

And here was the littlest guy of the bunch during a coffee shop break. . .

And sometimes you just know when enough is enough, lol. What a fun time!!

Janell: LOL...I was laughing all the way through these...thanks soooo much for a wonderful day and capturing some special moments! Great job Amy!

Angela: These shots are awesome!! What a great idea Janell and Chelcie--I love that you have all these photos together, and the ones with your boys are my favorite!!!!

Stepping Out

January 22, 2010

Just a sneak peek of a sweet little adventurous boy. . . More to come soon!

I seriously rarely see a family who has so much fun together. It’s one of those families I’ll find excuses to take more photos of, just so I can enjoy their interactions. Mike is a chiropractor in town, and I’d recommend him hands-down. In fact, he’s got an amazing special running this month. Call him and get yourself straightened out! He also works with kids, and after seeing him with his own you’d better believe he loves them! (360) 604-8006

Mike and Sarah, you guys are amazing parents. Seriously. I love the joy you have on your faces just because you all are together. Thanks for sharing your Friday with me!

Got to go out with the cousins over the weekend. My little Fidget-man adores his cuz Izzy, and lets him know every chance he get.

There’s your warm fuzzies to keep you company tonight!

Oh, won’t you just look at this little guy! I found this one recently while I was editing up his session and had to share. SO cute. Doesn’t it look like he’s giggling his heart out?

Now go have a beautiful evening!

never say . . .

Have a beautiful day, even if you have to search for it!

Karen Bowers: amy, photos like this is what amazes me about your work. how you can find a story in a pile of leaves, to find the heart of it.

amy: Karen, beauty is such a unique thing. I really believe that you can find it anywhere if you look hard enough. <3

What greater thing is there for human souls than to feel that they are joined for life - to be with each other in silent unspeakable memories.  ~George Eliot

One more post for this beautiful family - I just love how together they all were.  Such a fun, fun time!

And see, Trenton. I didn’t forget ya! You can just tell your mom I saved the best ’til last.

What a whirlwind week it’s been, but I’ve loved it! This morning I had a family session, but I just have to share a few of the daughter and get the rest up after we decorate for Christmas here. She is GORGEOUS - I swear I love this age. There is an awakening beauty unlike any other time in a girl’s life. I couldn’t wait to come home and play with these images.

Sasha, you were amazing. And I love your soft spirit.

    Emilie: Gorgeous session!!!
